Trina Clickner, David Russell, Mark Weeg and Fred Vieira play tunes together in and around Rochester NY as the "String Chickens". We play bluegrass, old-time, American, Scottish, Irish, and pretty much any old tune. Some newer ones, too. This is our e-roosting spot and a way to share things we like. The Floyd Country Store - unforgettable spot along the very Crooked Road

Bill Richardson of the Jugbusters drove us through ice and snow to the Floyd Country Store where I danced and marveled at the wares. The music was, obviously, great and I saw some long-bowing for the very first time. It was the Black Twig Pickers - WOW!
