Trina Clickner, David Russell, Mark Weeg and Fred Vieira play tunes together in and around Rochester NY as the "String Chickens". We play bluegrass, old-time, American, Scottish, Irish, and pretty much any old tune. Some newer ones, too. This is our e-roosting spot and a way to share things we like. Thursday Jams at Old Virginia Smokhouse - Pembroke, VA

Trina fiddles her way from north to south with musical adventures along the way.

Watch and hear Dean Reed (son of famous fiddler Henry Reed), Bill Richardson, Bill Blevins, Mac Traynham, and a few more old timer music makers lead us to Ragtime Annie.

Thursday jams are held weekly at the Old Virginia Smokhouse new location in Pembroke, VA - it's right next to New River Hardware. Oh boy this makes me smile - it gives a new meaning and definition to the term getting lucky! :o)

About the String Chickens

Trina Clickner, Denise Carder, David Russell, Fred Vieira and Mark Weeg play tunes together in and around Rochester NY. Together as the String Chickens, Trina and Denise play fiddle and Mark plays fiddle, viola, mandolin and sometimes guitar or piano. David Russell plays guitar or autoharp and sings.
