Trina Clickner, David Russell, Mark Weeg and Fred Vieira play tunes together in and around Rochester NY as the "String Chickens". We play bluegrass, old-time, American, Scottish, Irish, and pretty much any old tune. Some newer ones, too. This is our e-roosting spot and a way to share things we like. Oh Shut Up!

One should know when to shush.
One should think of others when playing tunes ad nauseum.
Therefore, sometimes one must mute.
Or one must simply stop playing.

I can't stop playing and we have two new ears in the house now. Therefore I mute -- in style.

I love my new blingy mute and it was fun to finally purchase a present for my fiddle. After all, it has given so much to me. My mute is very girly and quite the sparkly accessory. It tones me down and glams me up.
