Yes it was December, yes we played outside, and yes it was fun. Chris Gomez, the guy on the left who's looking at you in this picture, is a super duper flat picker from St. Petersburg, FL. Sometimes he gets me to sing. As a result, I'm learning Heartbroke and Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, plus Man of Constant Sorrow, of course. And when JJ plays mando with us we sound ALRIGHT!
We had an adventure the other night in Gulfport, FL at the Blueberry Patch. It's a hippy dipshit place and a MUST SEE if you are evolved enough to be open to the wabi-sabi and über-groovy. It was amazing but I'm not sure why everyone seems so much younger these days.
