Who will stop in tonight at the
monthly Second Saturday evening Crossroads Coffeehouse Fiddle Music Jam? I hope
Washboard Dave comes by - he joined us recently at the
monthly Second Thursday evenings Bernunzio Uptown Music Bluegrass Jam - see
www.bernunzio.com. He's an amazing addition with his musical calliope washboard plus he sings. I hope you show up too!
Here is this month's clever little invite/reminder. Come play! :o) Remember, if you miss this month, get out your calendar
NOW and mark next month's jam down - it's always the 2nd Saturday of the month!
Hello everyone!
Are you playing music this Saturday evening?
If you're not already booked, come to the Crossroads Coffeehouse 7PM-ish.
1. It's time again ALREADY for the second Saturday monthly Crossroads Coffeehouse fiddle music jam. Come on over. Tell your friends. We meet at 752 S Goodman at Clinton, right behind the old Cinema Theater at 7PM.
2. Beer and wine are now served in addition to coffee - solid proof that 2014 is already better than 2013. Pun intended.
3. Shoot me but come prepared - it's time to practice up on those blasted Irish tunes again for a just a few weeks.
Show up for some tunes and hear my silly Irish tunes joke. :o) Looking beyond March 17th, I'm planning a Kentucky Derby party tunes set so need to bone up on Blue Moon of Kentucky, My Old Kentucky Home, and Camptown Races. What do YOU want to play?
Hope to see you as soon as this Saturday evening, March 8th, 7PM-ish until closing at the Crossroads Coffeehouse in Rochester's cozy Southwedge.

Here is a picture of Washboard Dave and his washboard with incredible ornamentation.
Dave's business card reads "all: styles rhythms grooves" - what a treat to have him sit it. His expressive pings and whirrs at just the right moment on top of that raspy washboard rhythm makes me - and pretty much everyone else - smile ear to ear!
